Annual Flower Project

I would like to remind you all that we will meet for our annual Mother’s Day Flower Project on Saturday, May 7th at noon in the parking lot of Liberty Family Practice.  We will have carnations to take to our babies’ graves and to distribute to other babies’ graves in the various local cemeteries.  We will also have bulbs for those of us who were unable to bury our babies, or anyone who would like to plant a memorial garden.  This is a lovely tradition for a holiday that most of us find difficult.  Hope to see you there!

Carol would like me to remind you that all of our projects, including the flower project, our yearly holiday ornaments, and the burial gown and blanket projects depend upon your continuing donations.  Please consider making a donation in honor of your baby, so that we can continue these helpful, healing traditions.  Small donations are welcome!  We don’t require funds for our regular meetings, but flowers, postage and craft materials can be expensive.  You can still send donations in care of St. Vincent Health Center, but, as Carol is now enjoying her well-deserved retirement, it is now faster to send them directly to her address:  Carol Cacchione, 117 West 34th Street, Erie, PA 16508.

Thank you, and have a peaceful, loving, supportive Mother’s Day!
